NO, we provide a discrete service, no marked vehicles, no orange jump suits or sirens blazing, plain brown wrapper service. We will show up in a clean truck, wear a collared shirt with a small “The Mold Guy” logo so you know who we are, but that’s all.

Clearance tests can be ordered after remediation, they are air samples taken after we complete our mold removal project to ensure we have done our job properly.

No. However, we do provide individual contractors who perform minor to major reconstruction services. If you absolutely require a turnkey solution, we will provide you with one.

Contractors aren’t trained in proper mold removal procedures and risk cross contamination throughout the premises. Hire someone who is trained in the mold removal field.

This may be mold but in most cases, it is just ‘efflorescence’-salt leaching from the concrete or brick. Usually a sign that the waterproofing around the foundation is beginning to fail. Call us and we can inspect and advise you further.

This discoloration is likely mold, but may just be staining. Many cold cellars or cantinas often have poor ventilation and high humidity.

Typically it can be traced to one or more of the following issues:

  • A roof leak
  • A bathroom or kitchen fan improperly vented into the attic space
  • Poor ventilation, too few vents or blocked soffits
  • Lack of insulation allowing an area to condensate in the attic

We do remove mold in attics – and we do it quickly with a newly adopted process that is efficient and cost effective!

Visually it is hard to determine whether your mold is toxigenic, pathogenic, or allergenic without having air & mold samples taken and tested by an accredited lab. In any case, it’s wise to get it removed as soon as possible.

Everyone reacts differently to mold. Often, occupants of homes and business’ are suffering from numerous symptoms commonly associated with or caused by indoor mold growth. They try to overcome the issue by focusing on lifestyle or medication, but do not realize that the issue is in the indoor air they are breathing. People may suffer from allergies, asthma, colds and sinus infections, sneezing, flu symptoms, disorders, rashes, and memory loss to name a few.

In a lot of cases the mold is visible. Sometimes there is a musty or earthy odor. If you don’t see it but don’t feel well in certain areas of your home or business you may have a hidden mold problem.
